SPRING SOCIAL 2019 – A Day to Remember

What an incredible first event of the year! Our Spring Social was a success and it couldn’t have happened without all your support. It was a pleasure sharing what we do and why we do it with everyone who visited SASHA Farm on Sunday, May 12.

We’re sending out a huge THANK YOU to all of our guests who visited us on the Mother’s Day holiday – it was just a little cold and cloudy (😊)  but it never dampened your enthusiasm and love for the animal residents at SASHA. Thank you to our donors and sponsors who continuously provide care for our animal residents – we saw many old friends and lots of new ones throughout the day. AND, our volunteers – we just can’t thank you enough – you tirelessly cleaned and prepared for this big event, and then on this very special day, you lovingly shared the stories of the animal residents with our visitors. Your compassion shows through in everything you do.

Much appreciation goes out to Nosh Pit and Shimmy Shack for providing their delicious vegan food, to the Kharts Kids for creating beautiful artwork to share, to Joe Maroon Photography and Chase VanEckoute for their breathtaking photography, to the SASHA Board and Staff members for managing everything before, during, and after the event, and of course, to Monte Jackson and Dorothy Davies for creating such an amazingly safe place for farmed animals to call their forever home.

To all our friends who attended – we truly appreciate your compassionate choice to celebrate this Mother’s Day especially with us.

We can’t wait see you at the Humane Fair on August 11!

Here are some additional pictures for all to enjoy – and stayed tuned as more pictures are added throughout the week.
