We are so excited to invite you to our 2019 Humane Fair and Open House on Sunday August 11, 2019! From Noon until 4 pm you can enjoy a catered vegan buffet lunch and informative guided and walking tours of the sanctuary. And, you can visit and learn about animal activism and what animal advocate groups are doing by visiting their information tables. The groups represented are:  Attorneys for Animals, Bird Center of Washtenaw County, Challenge 22, Humane Society of Huron Valley, Humane Society of the United States, Simply Vegan Foods and VegMichigan.

Local business The Moveable Feast Catering, who has catered many successful vegan events for SASHA Farm over the years, will provide the vegan buffet lunch under the tents on the beautiful grounds of SASHA Farm, and there will be plenty of gluten free options available.

Throughout the afternoon you can stop in at the “big barn” and join some lively and informative discussions.  At 1:00 Barbra White will present on “Being the voice of animals and the Earth“, at 2:00 Brece Clark will present on “Environment and Modern Agriculture“, and at 3:00 there will be a Q&A session with SASHA Farm founders Dorothy Davies and Monte Jackson. There will be plenty of activities just for children as well!

Lots of great merchandise will be for sale throughout the day, including two BRAND NEW shirt styles and a great Bhima shirt for all you aspiring artists to color (kids AND adults!)  And, our vegan bake sale is always a great hit!

But we can always use more vegan baked goods if you love to cook – read the next blog below for more information or click HERE.

Tickets for this amazing fundraiser are only $30 for adults and $15 for children between 10 and 6, with 5 and under free. You can also buy tickets at the door.
