Volunteer Work Days

Volunteer Work Days at SASHA Farm

As of February 2008, we've made some changes to our Volunteer Work Days, so please read the following and note any changes for future reference. For information on upcoming SASHA Farm Potlucks, click here.

Early 2008 Volunteer Work Days

April 12th

11AM -4 PM

Spring Cleanup!

Once the snow and ice melt away, there will be lots of yard and pasture cleanup to do. Many of the barns, especially the goat barn, will need a thorough cleaning. We can use all the hands we can get for this date! RVSP by April 9th to Amanda or (734)428-9617.

May 25th

11 AM

A good old fashioned Work Day / Potluck! We'll be preparing for the Sponsorship Appreciation Day the following weekend. Potluck at 4 PM. RVSP by May 21st to Amanda or (734)428-9617.

June TBA

We’re never quite sure when the farmer who supplies our hay will call and tell us it’s ready, but he usually gives us two-three days notice. Depending on the growing season, this will probably happen some weekend in mid-May. If you are up for moving some hay, RSVP for this work day by June 1st and we’ll notify you as soon as we hear its coming.

More dates coming soon!
