Grand Rapids Livestock Truck Accident Survivor Spotted!

A brown and white dairy cow has been spotted running loose near the scene of the accident. Sanctuary co-founder Monte and newest sanctuary employee Chris drove out at 3:30 AM yesterday morning, and along with a few local volunteers, they searched the area until dusk. While they did not see the cow, they did find evidence that she has been living there.

To the best of our knowledge, there are still two cows alive and at large.  Local volunteers are distributing flyers to area residents, and we still hope to bring these girls safely back to SASHA Farm, where they can spend their much-deserved retirement years in comfort and safety.
