Meet the Goats

Energetic, silly, and loving are perfect adjectives to describe our goat residents. These adorable beings hang out in the main pasture with Bhima, Daisy Belle, the ponies, and their sheep pals. Usually, our goat residents can be seen lounging around on their goatscape, or following their human caretakers around the hilly twenty-plus acres at the front of the sanctuary. Our various breeds are among the favorites here at SASHA.

When rescued in a Calhoun County, Michigan, hoarding case (with Flopsy, Mazzy, and other goats and sheep), he had been living in a dog crate, and could barely walk when he first arrived. Now this pint-sized guy runs and jumps with all the others and is happy to be alive. He is one of the farm favorites!
