Fundraiser for SASHA Farm by local artist, Chris Blank

We want to give a huge THANK YOU to acrylic / mixed-media artist Chris Blank. Chris is a self taught artist living in his hometown of Jackson, Michigan. Starting March 26th through Christmas 2022, Chris will donate 30% of his online sales to SASHA Farm. How amazing, and how very generous of him to do this for the animals! Cat Barn Volunteers NEEDED!

If you love cats, we’d love to have your help! Our dedicated cat lovers provide lots of TLC, pampering, cleaning and feeding one day per week. Cuddles and purrs are always available. Administrative Assistant for SASHA Farm

Looking for a part time job in a beautiful country setting? SASHA Farm provides a lifetime home to over 200 farm animals who have been rescued from abuse, neglect, abandonment, or for other reasons. We need an energetic person with proven organizational and office skills, who can work onsite in Manchester Michigan for 3 days (with a maximum of 24 hours) per week. The applicant must have excellent, proven skills in Excel, Microsoft Word, Google Documents, and experience in creating social media posts, working with images, and more. After a 3-month training period, the job could lead to a permanent position with more days and higher salary.

2021 - The YEAR of LAZURUS at SASHA Farm

Many of you have followed the story of Lazurus and how he came to SASHA Farm this year. We, at the sanctuary, have claimed 2021 as the year of Lazurus. Everyone at SASHA believes that he has been an incredible gift, not only to SASHA Farm, but also to all who struggled throughout this unprecedented year of the Covid pandemic. His difficult expedition home to SASHA turned into a positive one, where he will always have warmth, friendship, food, safety, and medical care. Laz’ days will be filled with loving kindness until his life’s journey at SASHA reaches its natural end. He will never again fear for his life or suffer from lack of water and food. He will never have to shake and cower in fear as humans take bets on how much his remains would sell for.

LAZURUS IS HOME AT SASHA FARM

Our buddy, Laz, is settling in nicely at SASHA Farm. He’s getting the best care from the sanctuary staff, thanks to the continued support of the veterinary crew at MSU, and is showing signs of improvement every single day. Laz has even made a dog friend! He’s comfy, warm, and loved, which wouldn’t have been the case if Brece and Chase hadn’t rescued him from the sale barn on that awful, dismal day. Another life saved. Another story told. So many hearts stolen. We love you, Lil Laz!
